Sarnia Sting captain Jordan Kyrou has been named OHL player of the week for the second time this season.

The 19-year-old Toronto native led the league with a total of 11 points in Sting wins against the Flint Firebirds, the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds and the Oshawa Generals.

Kyrou, a St. Louis Blues prospect, finished the weekend with a goal and four assists in Oshawa Sunday night.

He reclaimed the OHL scoring lead with 73 points in 35 games after missing several games while winning a gold medal for Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship in Buffalo, New York.

Kyrou is the league's first two-time player of the week. He received the honour for the week of October 16, 2017, as well.

On Tuesday it was announced that Kyrou has also been named player of the week for the entire Canadian Hockey League which encompasses the Ontario, western and Quebec hockey leagues.
