Sarnia firefighters from three halls battled a blaze in the bitter cold at Blackwell Side Rd. and Blackwell Rd. Thursday.
Platoon Chief Bill Sheane says a detached garage was damaged but there were no injuries. No one was inside the building at the time.
Fire crews responded just after 9:30am.
The cause was under investigation and no damage estimated was immediately available.
Blackwell Side Rd. from Lakeshore Rd. to Blackwell Rd. was blocked off.
