Masked Suspects With Machete Rob Sarnia Pharmacy

Sarnia police are investigating after two masked men carrying a machete robbed a pharmacy on Wednesday.

Police say at about 4:40pm on Wednesday, two men with their faces covered entered a pharmacy on Wellington St. in Sarnia. According police, one of the men was holding a machete-type knife as he entered the store.

Police say one of the men then proceeded to walk behind the counter area and stole medication from a safe.

According to police, the two men ran away shortly after.

Police say the man who was holding the knife was described to be tall and heavy set. He was wearing a black winter coat, jeans, a balaclava, and gloves.

The second suspect was also described as tall, but not as big as the first suspect. He wore a dark hoodie with a white Halloween pumpkin design on the front of the sweater and dark pants with a white stripe down the leg.

Police say one male employee was working in the store at the time of the incident but was not injured.

Sarnia police and detectives responded to the scene to investigate.
