Tuesday, December 5 is the deadline to drop out of your class at Lambton College and still receive a full refund without an academic penalty.
The olive branch was extended to students after the five week strike by their instructors earlier this fall.
Spokesperson Cindy Buchanan says by the end of last week, 225 students had withdrawn from their course.
"200 were domestic and 25 were international (students)," says Buchanan. "We had forecasted a loss of 203 students, from (normal) attrition, between the first and second semester."
She says it's not uncommon for students to enroll in September and realize the program wasn't the right fit for them halfway through the first semester.
A final drop out tally won't be known until later this week.
The fall semester has been extended until Friday, December 22 and will resume Tuesday, January 2.
The end of February study break has also been cancelled to help students make up for lost time.
