Planned maintenance is underway at Suncor's Sarnia refinery.
The planned turnaround is expected to last about eight weeks.
In an e-mail Monday morning, the company says about 350 employees and contractors will be involved in the maintenance work.
Suncor says every effort is being made to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum.
