Repairs are planned for a portion of the old waterfront walkway at Centennial Park.
Sarnia's Parks and Recreation Director Rob Harwood says staff identified a problem area near the fountain.
"There's a spot that seems to have dropped off a little bit," says Harwood. "For public safety we decided to barricaded it off and public works will be digging that spot in the next couple of weeks to come up with a resolve."
Harwood asks that the public stay outside of the work area until repairs are complete and construction fencing has been removed.
