Pinball Clemmons, Colin Mochrie, Margaret Trudeau At VPP

The Victoria Playhouse has drawn three high profile individuals to its inaugural "Proud to be Canadian" speaker series.

Toronto Argonauts Vice-Chair Michael "Pinball Clemmons" kicks things off Saturday, June 10, to be followed by Gemini Award winner and comedian Colin Mochrie August 26. Author and talk show hostess Margaret Trudeau, mother of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wraps things up September 16.

Co-artistic Director David Hogan says VPP is getting to be quite well known country-wide.

"People are always asking 'how do you bring these people into Lambton County,'" says Hogan. "Oddly enough, they're just a phone call away. People are interested in sharing their stories and their talents. It was such a pleasure to talk to Margaret Trudeau and she says she's thrilled to do it."

A fourth distinguished Canadian speaker will be announced soon.

Tickets are $41 each or $150 for all four events.
