Snow Squall Warning Still In Effect For North And East Lambton

Snow squalls continue to extend inland over parts of southwestern Ontario Sunday evening.

Strong northwest winds with gusts up to 70 km/h or 80 km/h will also accompany these snow squalls resulting in reduced visibility in blowing snow.

Environment Canada says local snowfall amounts of up to 20 cm within 12 hours are possible in the heaviest snow squalls Sunday, though snowfall could reach 25cm in a few places by Monday morning.

Under the snow squall bands, visibility will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow, and snow will quickly accumulate.

If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
