Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Sarnia-Lambton.
The weather agency says rain, heavy at times, is forecast to move into the area Tuesday evening and last throughout the night. Thunderstorms are also possible as the system moves in.
Total rainfall amounts of 30 mm are likely before the rain tapers off Wednesday morning. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb the rain.
