UPDATE: Lambton OPP Investigate Two Truck Fires Sunday

Police investigated two transport truck fires in Lambton County Sunday including one that was deadly. Ontario Provincial Police say further information will not be released until the fire marshall and coroner's offices complete their investigations into Sunday's fatal tractor trailer fire on the 402. Emergency crews responded to the westbound lanes at the Camlachie Rd. overpass around 3:15am Sunday and found a Freightliner cab fully engulfed in flames. The driver got out safely but a passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Lambton OPP Constable Chris Doupe says they're looking to speak to any witnesses. "We're always seeking the public's assistance," says Doupe. "If anybody was in the area at 3:15am in the area of the 402 and Camlachie Rd. we'd certainly appreciate them contacting the Lambton OPP." No injuries are reported in another transport truck fire late Sunday night. Provincial police and fire responded to Hwy. 21 near Northville Rd. around 11pm after fire broke out as a result of a mechanical issue with the engine of a Peterbilt truck.
