One driver was taken to hospital after a serious crash Tuesday morning in central Sarnia.
It happened just before 9:30am on Indian Rd. just south of Exmouth St.
Sarnia Police Service Constable John Sottosanti says an SUV was travelling south on Indian Rd. when it crossed the median and collided with a northbound van.
"The driver of the vehicle travelling southbound was taken to hospital with unknown injuries at this time, subsequently he was also charged with careless driving," says Sottosanti.
"The other driver of the northbound vehicle did not require going to the hospital at all."
Indian Rd. northbound was down to one lane for over an hour while police investigated the collision.
Sarnia Fire and Rescue and EMS also responded.
