Sarnia Sting defenceman Jakob Chychrun is ranked third in International Scouting Service (ISS) Hockey's December rankings for players eligible for the 2016 NHL draft.
The word comes just a few days after Chychrun was invited to Hockey Canada's World Junior selection camp in Etobicoke later this month.
American Auston Matthews, who is playing in Switzerland, is at the top of the list while Matthew Tkachuk of the London Knights is second.
Other players of note include Mississauga's Michael McLeod (fifth), and Alexander Nylander (seventh), Logan Brown of the Windsor Spitfires (eighth), and Sting import pick Patrik Laine (ninth).
The NHL draft takes place June 24, 25, 2016 in Buffalo, NY.
