Habitat Offers Reward For Capture Of Thieves

Habitat For Humanity Sarnia-Lambton is reporting the sixth break-in at the organization's ReStore facility since last fall.

Sometime in the early morning hours Sunday, thieves gained entry to the build trailer on London Line and stole nearly $7,500 worth of hand and power tools.

Executive Director Sarah Reaume says it's the biggest theft they've encountered but says the others were still significant.

Reaume says they're offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. She says that will be taken from their ReStore revenues.

The organization still plans to move forward with their builds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sarnia Police or Crime Stoppers.
