A rainfall warning issued for Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex Sunday ended at mid afternoon.
Periods of rain were forecast to continue as a low pressure system system tracked south of Lake Erie.
Additional rainfall amounts in the 20 to 30 mm range were expected.
About 40 mm to 50 mm (2 in) of rain had already been reported over the previous 24 hours including heavy downpours in thunderstorms Saturday.
