Five Charged In Drug Bust

Sarnia police executed three search warrants and charged five people in a significant drug bust Thursday and Friday.

Two warrants were executed by the Vice Unit in the 100 block of George St. and a third in the 1700 block of London Line.

Police say 570 g of methamphetamine with a street value of $68,000 was seized as well as six hydromorphone pills and eight dilaudid pills.

44-year-old Michelle Codling, 49-year-old Donald Petrany and 36-year-old Nicholas Farina, all of Sarnia, are charged with possession of methamphetamine and hydromorphone.

48-year-old Michael Rogers of Kitchener and 27-year-old Kelly Spicer of Sarnia face charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

Rogers is also charged with weapons offences after allegedly being found with brass knuckles.

All five individuals were being held in custody awaiting bail hearings.

A 29-year-old woman arrested in the initial search was released without charge.
