Sarnia police have arrested a 35-year-old man in two violent incidents.
Constable Les Jones says the first happened Family Day Monday in the 300-block of Kathleen Ave. A man entered a home and struck a male victim with an unknown weapon.
Constable Jones says the victim was taken to London hospital with non-life threatening injuries and a warrant was obtained for the suspect's arrest.
Then around noon February 18, Jones says in the 100-block of Cameron St., a second victim was beaten, robbed and forced into his car. Constable Jones says he was being transported to a unknown location when, fearing for his life, he jumped from the vehicle.
The second victim was treated at Bluewater Health and released.
Criminal investigation detectives arrested a suspect without incident just before 7pm Thursday in the 800-block of Carlton Place.
He was being held for a bail hearing on 16 charges including robbery, assault with a weapon, unlawful confinement, threats to cause death and possession of stolen property.
