Preventing Holiday Season Heart Attacks

The holiday season is upon us, and with that comes the stresses that go along with it.

Pharmacist and author of the book "Saving Women's Hearts" Sherry Torkos (tore-kose) says there are more heart attacks on December 25th than any other day of the year, followed by Boxing Day and New Years Day.

She says health related deaths increase by about 5 per cent during the holidays.

Torkos says a recent study suggests some residents of Sarnia-Lambton may want to reconsider some of their bad habits.
