Development plans for the former Sarnia General Hospital site will be released to the public at a community consultation meeting Wednesday.
City Planner Jane Cooper says the applicants, Alex Jongsma and Ken Poore, want to amend the official plan and zoning bylaw to allow for development of a campus medical centre.
Cooper says that would change the appearance of the street, traffic, clear vacant buildings and bring a different form of planning to the area.
The meeting Wednesday, December 17 begins at 7pm at the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre.
