A larger than usual turnout is expected at Remembrance Day ceremonies across Canada today, including in Sarnia.
The procession will begin at the Royal Canadian Legion on Front at 10:30am, with services at 11am at the cenotaph on Wellington St.
Over 100 wreaths are expected to be laid at the foot of the war memorial in Veterans Park in Sarnia in honour of those who lost their lives fighting for our freedoms.
21-year-old Private William Cushley from Port Lambton was killed in Afghanistan in 2006. In 2007, 37-year-old Corporal Brent Poland from Camlachie lost his life.
Brent's brother, Mark Poland says you learn to live with the new reality, that his brother is gone.

Beginning at 10:15am, streets in the downtown core will be closed for the Remembrance Day Parade.
