Noelle's Gift Recognized By Lambton County

Noelle's Gift has been recognized by Lambton County Council for the group's donation to the local student nutrition program earlier this year.

The foundation, formed in honour of slain teacher Noelle Paquette, donated $10,000 to the Lambton Student Nutrition Advisory Committee to help provide fruits and vegetables to nearly 6,700 students.

Noelle's Gift Committee Member Jackie Major-Daaman says it's nice to receive recognition for the group's hard work, but it's not why they do it.

Each of Lambton's 37 student nutrition programs will receive a pro-rated allocation from Noelle's Gift based on the number of students fed each day, and the number of days per week the program operates.
