Point Edward Council deals with vacant property along Venetian Blvd. between the Holiday Inn and Best Western Guildwood when it meets tomorrow (Tues).

CAO Jim Burns says the numbered company that owns the land is asking for an extension to their Site Plan Agreement.

The property, formerly Chicago Chop House and the Sea Shell Restaurant, has sat undeveloped for several years.

The original proposal about three years ago called for a six storey building and adjacent restaurant but so far there’s been no movement towards construction.
