Last month was one of the wettest September’s in Sarnia-Lambton in years.

131mm of precipitation was the most the area has received since September 2008.

Environment Canada meteorologist Geoff Coulson says despite the rainy conditions, the average temperature was normal.

Coulson says Sarnia-Lambton received over half of its monthly rainfall over two days in September.

He expects a relatively warm October and says the chance of snow before Halloween is very unlikely.
