Lambton OPP say North Lambton Secondary School was in a partial lockdown Friday.

Constable Todd Monaghan says there was no risk to student or public safety but they were maintaining a police presence at the school.

Constable Monaghan says precautions were taken over potentially inflammatory social media comments about an incident on Main St. in Forest late Tuesday morning. He says there was a disturbance between high school aged males that did not involve any school property.

A 16-year-old charged with assault causing bodily harm is to appear in Sarnia Youth Court October 23rd.

Police continue to monitor the situation at the high school closely.
