It’s the 21st annual Day of Caring today.
The event marks the official start of the 2014 Sarnia-Lambton United Way campaign.
Campaign Chair Richard Kelch says volunteers are donating their time to paint, repair fences, clean and other maintenance tasks.
About 38 per cent of the 1.92-million campaign goal has been raised.
The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton funds 22 member agencies which provide 35 programs and services to area residents.
