Faith’s Footsteps Arrives In Sarnia
A torrential downpour Wednesday couldn’t stop young Faith Abbey from completing her task. Faith’s Footsteps arrived at King George VI Public School in Sarnia Thursday afternoon with supporters on hand to cheer completion of her three day walk from London. Faith received a special video from former student Chris Hadfield, congratulating her on the accomplishment.
Her dad Dave said it was an emotional couple of days.
Faith Abbey was only 18 months old when she was diagnosed with liver cancer. Now 10 years old, she’s been disease free for eight years. Students at King George, as well as the Bright’s Grove Optimist Club donated to the cause. To learn more about making a donation visit www.faithsfootsteps.com.
