Long Time Incumbent Seeks Re-Election

Long-time city and county Councillor Jim Foubister is seeking re-election October 27.
Foubister was first elected to the Town of Clearwater Council in 1988 and served on the committee to amalgamate Clearwater and Sarnia.
The 80-year-old has served two terms as Deputy Warden of the County.
He has served as chair of the Lambton County Child Poverty Task Force and vice chair of the Land Division Committee. He has also acted as the city’s representative to the Sarnia Hospital Decommissioning Committee, CAER Board, Economic Partnership and St. Clair Region Conservation Authority.
Foubister is a lifelong resident of Sarnia.
