The 2014 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge is fast approaching and tickets are now on sale for the event taking place in Sarnia-Lambton.

Sting first overall pick Jakob Chychrun will likely suit up for one of the three Canadian teams taking part.

Finland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden and the US round out the eight team tournament.

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton spokesperson Vicky Praill says the community will be scored based on the success of the tournament.

The 24-game tournament will be centered out of the RBC Centre, but will also feature games at The Shores Recreation Centre in Forest.

Those two communities, along with Petrolia, and Watford, will host pre-tournament games on October 31.

Gold and bronze medal games are scheduled for November 8.

Ticket packages are still available for a limited time for the 11 games at the RBC Centre (which includes the Gold and Bronze games) for $149. Ticket packages for all 11 games at the Shores Recreation Centre are available for $129 with the option of adding the Medal Games at an additional $42.
