Signs warning of high levels of E. Coli bacteria have been posted at Ipperwash Main Beach.

Lambton Public Health tests several Lake Huron beaches weekly.

Grand Bend’s north and south beaches, Highland Glen, Bright’s Grove, Canatara Park and Pinery Provincial Park are all clear for swimming.

Beaches can become temporarily polluted for up to 48 hours after heavy rainfall.

While no sampling occurs along the St.Clair River, caution signs advising of high bacterial levels following heavy rainfall are permanently posted at Branton Cundick, Brander and Seager Parks.
