32nd Annual Watford Cornfest

Twenty-five cents gets you a cob of hot buttered and locally grown corn in Watford this weekend.

4,800 ears of corn were ordered for the 32nd annual Cornfest.

Spokesperson Fran Woods says a variety of events are scheduled, including a musical performance at the pavilion at 6pm tonight, followed by a children’s parade at 6:30pm going from Acton’s garage to Centennial Hall.

All Star Games and a Homerun Derby are scheduled.

The East Lambton Minor Hockey Association is hosting a dance starting at 9pm Saturday at Watford Arena. Woodchuck Thief will take the stage.
