Sarnia police have charged a 40-year-old city woman in numerous frauds.

Police say Laurie Sproviero was charged in June with 24 fraud related offences committed between October 2011 and March of this year.

She was released with conditions at the time.

Yesterday, police say Sproviero was arrested and charged with three more offences.  The new charges are breach of undertaking, attempting to obstruct justice and conspiracy to attempt to obstruct justice.

Sproviero was released on bail and is to appear in court again August 19.

Anyone with information relating to the investigation can contact Detective Constable Ken McLachlin at 519-344-8861 extension 6154.
