Steps Taken To Make Intersection Near New St. Pat’s Safer
Sarnia Council has given the green light for installation of an all-way stop near St. Patrick’s High School.
Stop signs will be placed at the intersection of Berger Rd. and The Rapids Parkway.
City Engineer Andre Morin says as the Rapids Parkway area continues to develop, additional upgrades to the intersection may be required.
Morin says new stop signs will be installed within the next few weeks so motorists get accustomed to them well before the start of the school year.
Enrollment at St. Pat’s is estimated at 1,200 students when the Catholic high school reopens this September.
