City Council meets in closed session at 3:45 to discuss labour relations, employee negotiations and personal matters including a review of the City Manager.

In the regular meeting at 4pm, council will be asked to authorize immediate improvements including speaker replacement, bathroom renovations and painting at Sarnia’s RBC Centre.

Staff want the green light to hire an Accounting Clerk in the finance department to oversee financial activities of the facility.

Council is being asked to approve an agreement enabling the Receiver for the Bayside Centre to act as the City’s agent on the sale of the lands in conjunction with the mall.

A building assessment of Sarnia’s downtown library and efforts to slow traffic near Sarnia’s new St. Patrick’s High School are also recommended.
