Nominations continue to come in for Sarnia’s municipal election race.

Eight candidates are running for the city’s four council positions while three have announced intentions for Sarnia’s four dual city/county seats.

City Manager Margaret Misek-Evans says some council incumbents are seeking re-election.

The deadline to file is September 12, in advance of the October 27 election.

Long time Mayor Mike Bradley has yet to make known his intentions.  Fred Ingham is the lone mayoral candidate so far and six people want to be school trustees.

Anyone running for office must pay a $100 filing fee.
