Sarnia police report no major problems during the Canada day celebrations Tuesday.

Officers responded to 101 calls for service and arrested nine people.

Nine liquor lincense act charges were also laid for underage drinking and open liquor.

Three people were spotted at the fireworks display and nabbed for bail violations, one of whom was a 15-year-old who allegedly had a knife in his pocket.

Officers continue to look into an incident at the London Rd. Front St. intersection.

Police say a man trying to leave a parking was backing up when nearby pedestrians allegedly started hitting the truck and throwing things at it. When the driver got out, a verbal confrontation escalated into a fight with another man. No charges have been laid yet.
