Sarnia Applies To Host World Under 17

City staff have received approval to sign an agreement with the Canadian Hockey Association to host the 2014 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge should the opportunity arise .
Sarnia Council signed off on the direction Monday.
Earlier this year, Tourism Sarnia-Lambton submitted a proposal to host the tournament to be held this November.
The submission has been reviewed and TSL is awaiting official word about hosting the event.
