Computers For Schools

Sarnia’s St. Patrick’s Catholic High School is on the receiving end of 30 new computers.

The equipment is thanks to the renewal of the Computers for Schools program, an initiative that repairs, refurbishes and then donates computers to schools, public libraries and aboriginal communities.

MP Pat Davidson says the industry Canada led program has been going on for about 20 years.

Last year more than 15,000 computers were shipped to schools in ontario and close to 395,000 have been distributed to schools in the province since the program was created.
