Woman Killed In Strathroy Area Crash Identified

The identity of a 27-year-old woman killed in a single-vehicle crash west of Strathroy Thursday night has been released.
Middlesex OPP say Michelle Day was a passenger in a 2000 Lincoln travelling east on Napperton Dr. that left the road just after 9:30pm, rolled and hit a hydro pole.
The Strathroy-Caradoc woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 29-year-old male driver, Jeffrey Day, also of Strathroy-Caradoc, had to be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
He remains in critical condition.
