Shoplifter Faces Numerous Charges

A 23-year-old Sarnia man is facing 16 charges following a routine shoplifting call on Quinn Dr. Thursday.
The accused shoplifter was currently on two probation orders and also out on bail with conditions, including not having drug paraphernalia and to reside at a certain address. He was also wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.
A search of the man allegedly found identification belonging to two other people, some drug paraphernalia and break and enter tools.
A cell phone and tablet were also found and were later determined to have been stolen.
The accused has been charged with theft, possession of break-in tools, four counts of possession of stolen property, six counts of breach of probation and four counts of breach of bail conditions.
He was being held for a bail hearing.
