Sarnia and Lambton County will be participating in their 2nd Doors Open on June 21st and 22nd. The two day event will see several historic structures and sites that are generally closed to the public, open for everyone to see.

Chair of the Doors Open Steering Committee for Lambton County Heather Lavallee says many of the sites featured have a tie to the 1st World War. Lavallee adds the majority of the sites weren’t featured in 2012, the last time the area took part in Doors Open.

General Manager of Tourism Sarnia Lambton Marlene Wood says the event brings a large number of tourist to the area, but is also great for residents to learn more about the community they live in.
