A stun gun and replica firearm were seized from a squalid south end Sarnia apartment last night.

The Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800-block of Devine St. around 11:30pm.

Constable John Sottosanti says police were disgusted by the living conditions.

Two children, 12 and 16, were removed from the residence and placed in protective custody.

Sottosanti says during a search of the home police seized 21 hydromorphone pills and over $350 in cash.

Officers also recovered a stun gun and a Walter CP99 4.5 mm b.b gun that resembles a real firearm.

A 46-year-old man and 44-year-old woman were being held for a bail hearing.
