Sarnia police are investigating after another elderly man fell victim to the “grandparent phone scam”.
Constable Les Jones says the man in his 80’s received a phone call from someone claiming to be his son needing money after being in a car accident in Montreal.
The victim over the next few days sent a total of $15,000 dollars.
Jones reminds residents to safeguard yourself from becoming a fraud victim.
