Lambton Farmers Forced To Delay Planting

Weather has had a significant impact on the planting of Lambton County crops.
Lambton Federation of Agriculture spokesman Don McGugan says less than 5% of corn planting and 1% of soybeans are in the ground.
He estimates 20% of winter wheat did not survive the long, cold winter
He says what’s needed now is a stretch of dry, warm weather.
