YMCA Playground Equipment Removed

With the arrival of warmer temperatures parents and children have noticed something missing from the south side of Sarnia’s YMCA property off Finch Dr.
Playground equipment, installed when the Jerry McCaw Family Centre was built over 17 years ago, has been removed.
General Manager Ian Foss says regulations have changed significantly since the equipment was erected.
Foss says they would definitely consider replacing the equipment.
However, a benefactor or significant donations from community groups would be needed to held cover the $75,000 to $100,000 cost.
The playground was removed last fall.
