No Major Hail Damage

There’s been no reports of significant damage so far in the aftermath of yesterday evening’s hail storm in the Alvinston area.

Environment Canada meteorologist Geoff Coulson says golf sized hail provides a good reminder for people to put personal safety first.

Alvinston resident Theresa Goodhand says large hail started falling around 6pm and lasted a good ten minutes.

The warning, one of three posted in Sarnia-Lambton yesterday, ended around 6:30pm.

An approaching cold front triggered yesterday’s storms.
