Elementary Schools Under Construction

A number of Sarnia elementary schools are now under construction.
Lambton Kent District School Board Director Jim Costello says Cathcart Blvd. and High Park are receiving additions as the final-year of the five year phase-in of full day kindergarten is marked this September.
Costello says the existing space among four classrooms will be expanded at Errol Road Public School. Two rooms are being renovated and two will become larger to accommodate the incoming kindergarten students.
Construction at all of the schools is estimated to cost just over $4-million total.
While the work is underway, Costello says the bulk will be done over the summer.
