Lambton College will be incorporating “gamification” into its curriculum in an effort to better reach mobile-savvy students.
It’s hoped that this September, the college will roll out an online program that includes six “gamified courses” that feature avatars and interactive or competitive components through student’s mobile devices.
Associate Dean of the Learning Innovation Centre Rick Overeem says it’s a new way to engage students with educational content.
