S.C.R.C.A. Looking For Reptile Sightings

With temperatures warming up, reptiles are on the move.

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority held an educational workshop on native snake and turtle species for Lambton County road crews.

Biological Technition Kelli Smith is encouraging sightings by crews or the public to be passed along to the agency.

Smith says they can get up to 4-feet long and are usually an orange colour with black spots. The butler’s gartersnake is another species they’re interested in.
