Storms Race Across Sarnia-Lambton

A line of heavy thunderstorms moved very quickly across Sarnia and Lambton County on a northeast track late Tuesday afternoon.
Environment Canada posted a severe thunderstorm warning for Sarnia and west Lambton and then extended it to cover east Lambton as well.
Forecasters say the storms were capable of producing very strong wind gusts, hail and locally heavy rain and frequent lightning.
The storms dumped about 10 mm of rain at Blackburn Radio in fairly short order.
The severe thunderstorm warning ended for Sarnia-Lambton at 6:15pm.
