April Housing Starts

Local housing starts dipped lower in April.
CMHC market analyst Erica McLerie says starts took a hit last month in the Sarnia area.
Starts to date this year are 19, down from 27 in the first four months of last year.
McLerie says weather is believed to be a contributing factor and she doesn’t expect the downward trend to continue.
The monthly stats cover Sarnia, St.Clair Township and Point Edward.
