Bluewater Health Wins National Award

Bluewater Health is being recognized for its work on an Influenza Protection Policy for patients and healthcare workers.
The organization has won a national communications award from the Health Care Public Relations Association of Canada.
Kim Bossy, chief of communications at Bluewater Health, says it’s great to be recognized with such an honour.
Bossy says the policy helped Bluewater Health increase healthcare worker vaccination rates from 52 per cent in 2012/13 to 84 per cent in 2013/14.
